Rice is a cereal that has different species. It is eaten in every part of the world, and all continent. There are different types of rice planted and grown according to their species, and in country.
Rice contains several minerals, and vitamins that is effective to the body. And this serves as an healthy Benefit to the body as well. Such vitamins like vitamin B6, and B1. Minerals like phosphorus, magnesium, selenium e.t.c
It also helps in healthy digestion, healthy heart, controls diabetics and reduce the risk of cancer. It reduces the risk of cancer through the help of Antioxidance. Antioxidance reduces the risk of cancer from damaging cells by keeping free radicals.
There are different method of preparing white rice, most especially here in Africa, Nigeria. But the main objective to achieve is removing the starch away which causes ............. to the body.
HOW TO PREPARE RICE
1.) Measure 2 cups of rice, either brown or white rice. Add a little salt to it, this helps in quick removal of the starch. Wash by using your hands to scrub them. Wash well, and change the water, repeat the same procedure again for three times
2.) Place a pot of water on a high heat. After water is boiled within 3minutes. Rinse the rice from the water into the boiled water, and add salt to taste. Cook on medium heat for 15minutes.
3.) Make sure the water you would use to cook the rice is much and above the rice. When the rice is done. Remove the water. This helps to get rid of any other starch left in the rice.
4.) Seize the rice and serve.
SECOND METHOD
1.) Place a pot of water on a high heat. After boiling. Pour the rice into hot water without washing. Boil for 3minutes, without salt. After 3minutes, seize the water out. Then begin to wash with cold water, wash till starch is removed away and rice is purely clean, and white.
2.) Pour back into the pot for cooking, add enough water for cooking. Do not let the water to be very much. Just enough to cook the rice till done. Add salt to taste. Cook for 7minutes.
3.) After 7minutes, the rice is done, and water dried up. Your white is ready.
