How To Make Plantain Moimoi ( Ukpo Ogede )

 


    Plantain is a starchy fruit and also a staple food source in many tropical areas.It has a common name known as "Plantaginaceae".

   Plantain are usually cooked either fried or boiled,or in savory dished.They can also be dried fir later use which can be converted into flour.


Ingredients:

.3 Large Plantains ( 1 Unripe and 2 ripe )

.3 Medium Fresh Pepper.

.2 Eggs

.1 Large Onions

.1 Mackerel Fish

.2/4 Cup Crayfish

.Salt

.2 Seasoning Fish

. Baking Cup, Plastic or Moimoi Leaves.


Instructions:

Step 1: Get a rinsed blender contained with little water.Add your peeled plantain into the blender to blend still it look smooth.


Step 2: Wash the Mackerel fish,and place in a pot. Adding ingredients like chopped onions,salt,season,and water to prepare. Also add your egg for boiling.

Step 3: Gently pour the blended plantain into a medium size container. Add all necessary ingredients such as fresh pepper, crayfish, seasoning,boiled fish. Mix well to combine.

Step 4: Get a big medium pot,fill it with water and place on your Gas cooker at medium heat for it to get while you fill in your package.

Step 5: Pour your mixture into your baking cup,nylon, plastic,or Leaf. Gently arrange them into the pot of your hot boiling water.

Step 6:Prepare till it get done.



Step 7: Serve with cooker oat,bread,custard,and any lovely combination to your taste.

How To Make Yummy Indomie Noodles (Stir Fry)

 Indomie is a brand of instant noodles produced by the Indonesian company "Indofood". It's the largest instant noodles produced in the world.

It is nutritious in content and good for both old,adult and young ones.It has the following nutritious constituent which are:

182mg of Potassium (49%)

3g of Dietary Fiber (9%)

16g of Total Fat (21%)

820mg of Sodium (36%)

53g of Carbohydrate (59%)



Ingredients.

.Pepper

.Onions

.Groundnut oil

. Indomie

.Egg

.Carrot


Instructions (Stir Fry Indomie)


Step 1:Boil water in a pot still it attain 100°C. Place Indomie into it and let it boil for 3 minutes.

Step 2:When Noodles is half done,Remove noodles from water and drain well. 

Step 3:On the other end,heat your frying pan or another container,then add your Groundnut oil to it. 

Step 4:Apply your diced onions,pepper, tomatoes,carrots,season,then a little water to cook.Boil for 2mins.

Step 5:Gently apply your noodles,and Fry on a low heat until it's strictly overwhelmed with the ingredients,and season.



Step 6:Ready to eat and serve yourself.You can actually add anything to it. Either Fish,Egg,Meat. Anything whatsoever.

How To Make Rich Zobo Drink

 



      Zobo Drink is a popular known drink across Nigeria.It is named as Zoborodo or Hibiscus drink.It is a nutritious drink to make at home.It's an OX - blood or red wine coloured drink made from dry petals or red wine coloured drink made from dry petals of the Roselle plant (Hibiscus Sabdariffa) which is a Hibiscus Specie.


Ingredients.

.100g Zobo Leaves.

.4 litres of Water

.20g of Fresh Ginger or Dry Ginger.

.1 pineapple.

2 tsp of cloves known as Konofiri.




Instructions.

Step 1:Wash thoroughly and rinse the pineapple with clean water before peeling. You can use both the pineapple itself and the outer peel for flavour.

Step 2:Wash the hibiscus dry leaves thoroughly with cold water.You doing this because the leaves are often dirty due to the way they are stored.

Step 3:Rinse your hibiscus flower into a pot,and add your water to it.Place on the cooker for it to boil for 10 mins.

Step 4:Add the chunks of pineapple,Ginger, cloves (Konofiri).Leave it to boil for about 25mins.



Step 4: Sieve out the extract into a bowl and leave the drink to cool. The boiled leaves can still be re used until the ingredients loses its taste.

Step 5: Use Natural sweetener like orange, pineapple, cucumber,sugar e.t.c .You can use the Artificial flavour and sweetner such as Nitric C,Jolly Juice, Clark's flavour,Nitric C e.t.c.

Step 6:Refrigerate and Serve Cold.
