6 Delicious Types Of Rice Recipe

    Rice is the most popular food in the whole world. It is eaten in all corners of the earth, and here in Nigeria...... It is an everyday food to consume. Both at home, parties, restaurants, eateries, ceremonies, meetings, churches, shops, and all other places to mention. Rice rules the world. 

   Rice happens to be a cereal which has different species. It is good to the body, easy to cook, and able to consume. There are different types of rice such as brown rice, white rice, long rice, small rice e.t.c as much as we can count. Rice contains alot of starch which is quite not good to the body, so also does rice contains magnesium, manganese, selenium, vitamin B6, and vitamin B1.

   I love rice so much.... It's the food I can think of when I want to cook something funny, delicious, tasty, yummy, and expensive. It gives me life, and excitement. Most especially white rice. White rice is the best type of cooked rice I cherish, with fried stew seasoning with locust beans, and shawa fish. I love this recipe.

   There are different methods of cooking rice. Different method of cooking different types of delicious rice recipe. I would be talking about six (6) delicious types of rice recipe. You can as well try them at home in your convenience.


   6 Delicious Types Of Rice Recipe

1.) Jollof Rice

  Jollof rice is a tasty delicacy to every taste buds. It is prepared with tin tomatoes, pepper, tatashe, Shombo,onions, grinded together, with the help of bay leaves to give it this kind of party rice flavor. Jollof Rice is a popular food in Nigeria, and served in all variety places. It can be paired with plantain, spaghetti, meat e.t.c.


   Ghana is also a fan of Jollof rice, has they also have the way they make their own Jollof recipe. I would be talking about Ghana recipes in my blog. I love them so much. I would also like to live there, learn how to make their food, and also do business there. They are truly good people.


2.) White Rice

  White rice is a natural process of making rice without any additional ingredients, or spices. No ingredients attached to this recipe expect from salt to taste alone. It is seasoning with salt, and left to boil till it get soft. It is taken with any kind of stew like  tomatoe stew, atagbigbe stew, Ofada Rice stew, e.t.c. Or with any kind of soup such as Egusi Soup, Vegetable soup, Omi Obe, and the rest. 


   White rice can be paired with creamy vegetable salad, fried Plantain, assorted meat, diced carrots, e.t.c. Rice can be taken as breakfast, lunch and dinner. Anytime, anyday, and anyplace.


3.) Palm Oil Rice

  Palm oil rice is a spectacular concoction rice recipe. It is spicy, seasoned, flavored, and garnished with different kind of stocks, like fish, meat, Pomo, shrimps, chicken, crayfish e.t.c.  Any ingredient is welcomed. Palm oil rice is a recipe made with palm oil, and all ingredients put at once to cook. It doesn't take any other procedure.



4.) Fried Rice

  Fried Rice is a special recipe to me, and am so sure, it is the best to some of my fans out there reading this. Fried rice is a delicious meal with great taste, aroma and look. It is prepared with rice, Curry powder, thyme, chicken stock, and garnished with vegetables. Vegetables like carrot, sweet corn, green bell pepper, yellow bell pepper, green peas, spring onions e.t.c.  It is loved by most people. It can also be paired with plantain, chicken, and salad.


  Fried rice is a delicious recipe, easy and simple to make. It is served in parties, and home. Popular in eatery. It is very affordable to cook.


5.) Coconut Rice

  Coconut rice is a very nutritious type of rice recipe. It is healthy to the body, and have a very merry taste to the bud, and nice aroma. Coconut rice is made with coconut fruit. Blended or grated to extract the water. It is then you use the coconut milk to prepare the rice. It can be prepared with diced bell pepper, and vegetables. As you want it. 


   It can also be paired with chicken, meat, fish, plantain, creamy salad, fried potatoes e.t.c. Stepping it down with orange chilled juice or wine. What do you think? 


6.) Waakye

  Waakye is a delicious Ghanaian food. It is a very simple recipe to cook. It is prepared with brown rice cooked with dried red sorghum leaves, black eyed peas. It is nutritious, and healthy to the body. Waakye is commonly served with spaghetti, plantain, and fried pepper stew with egg.  It is a delicious recipe.
