How To Make Tuwo Shinkafa

 


   Tuwo Shinkafa is a swallow food popularly known in the Northern part of the country, Nigeria. It is a meal made from rice, or with rice flour. Tuwo is easy to make and simple. It can be paired with any kind of soup either ogbono soup, vegetable soup, okro soup, egusi soup e.t.c

   Tuwo Shinkafa is a lovely food with a natural taste mostly eaten by the Hausas. This is one of the best swallow food for the Hausas, like we the yorubas. We love taking pounded yam. So also it is for the Hausas.

   Tuwo can either be prepared with rice flour or corn flour. But would strictly be explaining Tuwo Shinkafa made from rice flour or raw rice. 

How To Make Tuwo Shinkafa

   There are two method of making Tuwo Shinkafa. 

. By cooking raw rice itself

. By using rice flour (which is the best)


PROCEDURE

. By Cooking Raw Rice



  1.) Measure and wash 4cups of rice into a 5 cups of boiled water. Do not add salt to it. Remember we aren't making white rice, but rather still.... Tuwo Shinkafa.

  2.) Cook rice till it gets very soft, and soaked together with the water. Make sure the water gets dried.  

  3.) Begin to use a turning stick to pound the rice together, till it looks stretched out together. Press and pound.

  4.) Gently use your hands to form a round shape with it. Roll round together till it gives you that perfect round shape. Repeat the same procedure till you are done with the rice.


. By using Rice flour


  1.) Boil 5 cups of water. Get 3 cups of rice flour. Take away 2 cups of water from the water when fully boiled. 

  2.) Gently pour the cups of rice flour into the water, and begin to use a turning stick to mix together. Add water to the mixture when necessary. Turn and mix well to avoid balls in it. 

  3.) Continue this procedure, till you get a smooth Tuwo. All done on a medium heat to cook as you are turning it. Just as if you are making Amala. This takes 7minutes.

  4.) Tuwo Shinkafa is ready. Serve with any soup of your choice.

Healthy Benefit In Eating White Rice: (White Rice Recipe)

 


   Rice is a cereal that has different species. It is eaten in every part of the world, and all continent. There are different types of rice planted and grown according to their species, and in country. 

   Rice contains several minerals, and vitamins that is effective to the body. And this serves as an healthy Benefit to the body as well. Such vitamins like vitamin B6, and B1. Minerals like phosphorus, magnesium, selenium e.t.c 

   It also helps in healthy digestion, healthy heart, controls diabetics and reduce the risk of cancer. It reduces the risk of cancer through the help of Antioxidance. Antioxidance reduces the risk of cancer from damaging cells by keeping free radicals.

   There are different method of preparing white rice, most especially here in Africa, Nigeria. But the main objective to achieve is removing the starch away which causes .............  to the body.


HOW TO PREPARE RICE

1.) Measure 2 cups of rice, either brown or white rice. Add a little salt to it, this helps in quick removal of the starch. Wash by using your hands to scrub them. Wash well, and change the water, repeat the same procedure again for three times


2.) Place a pot of water on a high heat. After water is boiled within 3minutes. Rinse the rice from the water into the boiled water, and add salt to taste. Cook on medium heat for 15minutes.

3.) Make sure the water you would use to cook the rice is much and above the rice. When the rice is done. Remove the water. This helps to get rid of any other starch left in the rice.

4.) Seize the rice and serve.


SECOND METHOD

1.) Place a pot of water on a high heat. After boiling. Pour the rice into hot water without washing. Boil for 3minutes, without salt. After 3minutes, seize the water out. Then begin to wash with cold water, wash till starch is removed away and rice is purely clean, and white.

2.) Pour back into the pot for cooking, add enough water for cooking. Do not let the water to be very much. Just enough to cook the rice till done. Add salt to taste. Cook for 7minutes.

3.) After 7minutes, the rice is done, and water dried up. Your white is ready.

How To Make Akara (Beans Cake)


   Akara is a popular Nigerian snack made from beans. It is a sweet and crunchy recipe loved by people. Akara is a snack made from either white or brown beans. It is a healthy food made available for everyone, and also  popular in homes, and parties such as funeral, e.t.c 
   Beans itself is a good food which contains fiber, iron and vitamins that are health benefit. It is used to heal, and make new tissues such as muscle, skin, bone hair and blood.
   Akara ( Beans Cake) can be paired with cassava flakes, Custard, coaker oats, and the likes. It can also be serve alone.

INGREDIENTS

. 2 cups Beans

. 1 Large onion

. 5 Scotch Bonnet Pepper

. Salt

. Crayfish



INSTRUCTIONS

1.) Soak beans into a bowl of water for 15minutes. Begin to scrub together with your palm. Remove all shaft, and rinse. Rinse the scotch bonnet pepper, and onion. 

2.) All placed into the blender for blending. Add water to it for smooth blending.  Blend till smooth.



3.) Fill a bowl with the blended beans . Add the crayfish, and a little salt. Note: A little bit of salt goes a long way in making beans cake. Do not add Maggi. Mix all together.

4.) Fill in a frying pan with groundnut oil for frying on a medium heat. Begin to take into the oil using a soup spoon. Fry till brown, flip to the other side, fry till brown.

5.)Repeat same procedure till you are done frying. Akara (Beans cake) is ready.

How To Make Ojojo (Water Yam Balls)

 


   Ojojo is a traditional delicious snack made from water yam. It is commonly prepared in the western part of the country, in the Yoruba tribe. It is not popularly known in the Northern and Eastern part of Nigeria. Would rather say, it's a recipe that is mostly consumed by the Yoruba tribe.

   Ojojo is a recipe which is easy to make and do not require much energy. It's simple as ABC. Ojojo can be paired with coaker oat, custard, Pap or cornflakes.

   Ojojo happens to be one of my favorites, I love this recipe so much, most especially whenever I take it strawberry custard. It taste good and yummy. It is the best thing I can make when it's available. I don't really love to make use of water yam to prepare white yam. It is not a Yes for me. So I go for what I love. And I make it to my taste. I love it when it is hot, it taste crunchy and sweet to eat.

   Water Yam Balls (Ojojo) is similar to Beans cake (Akara). Akara is made from beans, and Ojojo is made from Water Yam, but the same procedure in making them. Both snacks doesn't require much ingredients or spicy. It's simple.

INGREDIENTS

. 1/2 tuber of Water Yam

. 1/2 ltr groundnut oil

. 1 tsp powdered crayfish

. 5 scotch bonnet pepper

. Onion

. Salt

. 1 Maggi


INSTRUCTIONS

. Peel the water yam, place into a bowl of water immediately. You are doing this in order to avoid the water yam get brown or red if opened to air.

. Rinse yam, and grate with the smallest part of the grater. You can rather choose to blend with a blender. Water Yam should be cut in big sizes in order to be able to hold firmly while grating it. For the other option, the yam should be cut into smaller sizes, and water should be added to the blender for easy and smooth blending.

. Fill a bowl with the grated water yam. Grate or slice the scotch bonnet pepper and onion together into the water yam paste. Add a cube of Maggi, salt, crayfish, and salt to taste. Mix all together.

. Fill in a frying pan with groundnut oil for frying on the cooker on a medium heat. Begin to take in quantity using a soup spoon into the hot oil. Fry till light golden brown. Flip to the other side. Fry till light golden brown.


. Repeat same procedure till you are done frying. Ojojo is ready. Pair with any drink of your choice.

Puff Puff - How To Make Nigerian Puff Puff



   Puff Puff is one of the most popular Nigerian snack consumed by people. It is deeply fried till golden brown like other snacks such as Egg roll and doughnut. Nigerian Puff Puff is usually served in parties, sold on street, and prepared at home.

   Puff  Puff takes alot of time in preparation. At maximum, 2hours 15minutes. But delicious to consume. 

   Here are ingredients in making puff puff

. 3 cups flour

. 1 cup sugar

. 2 cups warm water

. Pinch of salt

. 4 tsp Instant yeast

. 1 tsp nutmeg

. Vegetable oil for frying





INSTRUCTIONS

. Seize the flour into a bowl to remove any other form of particle. Add the yeast, nutmeg, salt, and sugar. Mix up together with a spatula.

. Gradually begin to add warm water to the mixture, and begin to mix gently, and thoroughly till all are endowned with the water. Make sure there are no bubbles.

. Use a nylon or foil paper to cover. Then place in a warm place for 45minutes. It is expected to rise double in size.

. Get a deep frying pan, fill it up with vegetable oil on a medium heat. Open and scoop the mixture with your hand or spoon. Begin to use your hands to form the round shape into the oil for frying.



.  Fry till golden brown, flip to the other side, fry till golden brown 

. Pack it away from the frying oil with a frying spoon into an iron seize

. Yummy puff puff is ready. Serve yourself.

Bean Porridge Recipe: How To Make Beans Porridge

 


   Beans Porridge is a honey pot meal which is very nutritious and proteinous. It is a good source of Iron, Vitamin B, Fibre, and Protein. Bean is a popular food known, that when you consistently consume it, it makes you get taller. Is that really true? Only mothers can testify to this.

   There are different types of beans. Many types of beans with different colours, and different ways to cook them. The most commonly are the brown and white beans.




   Beans Porridge is very easy to cook, and do not need much spicy. It's a proteinous food with simple ingredients. Beans is a good recipe to sick patient and people at whole. 

How to make Beans Porridge


. 2 cups brown beans

. 2 tsp red pepper

. 1 tsp salt

. 1 Large onion

.3 soup spoon palm oil


INSTRUCTIONS

. Rinse and soak the beans in a bowl of water for 1 hour. You are doing this because it is beans porridge, and it reduces the time spent on fire to get soft. After being soaked for 1hour. Pour it together with the water into a pot, add more water if necessary. Cook till soft, this takes 10-15minutes. Then the beans is fully done.

. Grate the onion to it, apply the red pepper, salt, and palm oil. Mix together, and let it cook for another 5minutes (maximum).

. Beans Porridge us ready. Serve with plantain or soaked cassava flakes (Garri).

Indomie Recipe: How To Make Indomie

 


   Indomie is a wonderful food that is known all around the world. Children and adults loves this recipe so much because it taste so yummy and easy to cook.

   Indomie is a popular food in all continent, as a matter of fact, Indomie is prepared in different ways or method. It can be boiled or fried.

   I as a person loves indomie so much. It is one of my favorite food. I make indomie in a lovely way that you would request for more. Adding vegetables and egg makes it look complete, and taste delicious. Either fried egg, or better still boiled egg most especially. Using cooking butter in place of groundnut oil. Garnished with chopped pork meat, and creamy fruit salad, having some powdered suya pepper on top.

   Indomie requires many spicy to make it delicious, because indomie itself can't stand alone. Here are ingredients used in making Indomie in a simple way.

INGREDIENTS

. 2 Indomie Noodles

. Vegetables: carrot, spring onions, green peas, green pepper, red pepper, sweet corn, onion

. Butter


INSTRUCTIONS

. Note: I will be using one indomie seasoning, out of two. Doing this because it quite seems too salty or seasoning too much.

Cook the indomies, season with half of it seasoning. Cook for 5minutes. Make sure no water is left. Make dry. 

. Add butter to frying pan. Butter enough to fry the vegetables, and also the indomie as well. Begin to fry the vegetables, season the remaining indomie seasoning. Fry till they begin to get soft as you fry. Fry for 3minutes, then add the indomie. Contine frying till you get a shining fry look.

. Your delicious indomie is ready.

Jollof Spaghetti Recipe: How To Make Jollof Spaghetti

 


   Jollof Spaghetti Recipe is a pleasant and delicious food preferred after Jollof Rice. It has a spicy and yummy taste. Jollof spaghetti is easy to make, and cost little time to get prepared, i.e it doesn't take much time. Quick and short.

   Jollof spaghetti is loved by everyone most especially the children. Above all, all the part of the world eats pasta including the northern part of Nigeria. They love this recipe.

   I myself loves to eat spaghetti generally. As a student, it is one of the fastest food I can make before going to lecture, or when I am tired, and need to find something to fill up my stomach.

   Jollof Spaghetti is really popular and affordable to cook. I can help in giving a breakdown of price.

Spaghetti - #350

   I would say that Jollof spaghetti really saves alot, most especially for a student.

   Here are the ingredients listed on how to make Jollof Spaghetti.

. 1 spaghetti

. Mixed pepper: Tatashe, Shombo, Tomato, Scotch Bonnet Pepper, Onion

. Vegetables: Carrot, green peas, spring onions, sweet corn

. 1 tsp Curry powder

.1 tsp thyme

. 1 Maggi cube

. Salt to taste


INSTRUCTIONS

. Parboil the spaghetti in a pot for 3minutes. Add a half spoon of salt to taste. After 3minutes, remove starch water from the spaghetti, then set aside. Note: the spaghetti is not fully prepared


. Pour into another pot set on the cooker. Add in sliced onions to fry a minute. Gently pour the blended Pepper, and mix up together. Season with Curry powder, thyme, salt and Maggi. Add a little water to cook for 3minutes.

. Time up. 3minutes is done. Put in the parboiled spaghetti, mix together. Steam for 2minutes (on a medium low heat). Then add the vegetables to it. Mix them all together very well, and steam for another 3minutes.

. Your delicious Jollof spaghetti is ready. Ready to serve.

Yam Pottage (Asaro)

 


   Yam pottage/porridge is a delicious Nigerian dish made with yam in a seasoned pepper mixture. It is a quick and yummy recipe which is simple and easy to make. 

Yam pottage happens to be one of the food I love cooking when I was in secondary school. When mummy travels, and leaves us with a list timetable of food to prepare during the week, I do not follow it. No one can scold me for that. I am the eldest. I would prepare yam Pottage like 3times a week. Most especially the one prepared with Groundnut oil, and sliced pepper, and onions. With fish, and Pomo. I would also make a beautiful aroma seasoned stew to pair it. 

My younger one loves it so much. She would lick up the plate shining. Drink water, and go to the pot. Any remains in the pot, is gone.

There are several ingredients used in preparing yam pottage (Asaro). Here are the listed ones.


INGREDIENTS

. 1 Small size white chopped yam

. 1 cup pumpkin leaves

. 4 Scotch Bonnet Pepper

. 1 big size onion

. 2 big size tomatoes

. 2 cooking spoon palm oil

. 1 medium size smoked fish

. 2 tsp Grounded crayfish

. 1 Maggi cube

. Salt to taste

. Pomo


INSTRUCTIONS

. Rinse all necessary wash ingredients, and put them in different bowls. Such as stock fish, Pomo, pumpkin leaves, chopped yam, cut meat.

. Cook the meat, Pomo and stock fish in a pot for about 20minutes. Make sure they are well seasoned with salt and Maggi.


. After 20minutes cooked, cut them all into smaller sizes in order for it to be able to blend with the matched yam porridge


. Blend tomatoes, onion, and 2 scotch bonnet pepper in an electric blender. Slice the remaining scotch bonnet pepper. Heat the palm oil in a pot. Add sliced onions to the palm oil for it to fry. Gently pour out the blended Pepper into the palm oil. Season with salt, and Maggi. Stir Fry. 

. Then simply add water to it, and put in the washed chopped yam. Cover to cook for 5minutes.


. After 5minutes, begin to match the yam with a turning stick. Do that for 1minutes till it looks smooth. Add the stock into it, and also the pumpkin leaves. Mix together, then steam for another 2minutes.

. Yam porridge (Asaro) is ready.


. Serve with a chilled orange juice

Ewedu soup and Amala

 


   Amala and ewedu soup is a perfect and common delicacy known home and abroad. It is the perfect match to ewedu soup. 

   Amala and ewedu are commonly made and served at home, parties, and also at the restaurant. It is popularly consumed by the Yoruba tribe, with gbegiri.

Let alone, let's discuss about ewedu soup

   Ewedu Soup

 Ewedu soup is made using Jute leaves, a very highly nutritious green leaf. It has a slimy texture (mucilaginous) similar to okro soup. It is served with stew and Amala.


   INGREDIENTS

. Jute leaves



. 1 tsp Grounded crayfish



. 1 tsp locust beans



. A handful of Egusi



. Potash (Akaun)



. Maggi

. Salt

. Ijabe


   INSTRUCTIONS

. Remove the jute leaves from it's stem. Put a small amount of water, add a bit of potash boil. Jute leaves should be a bit much than the water. Boil to heat. Rinse jute leaves into the water, and cook till very soft.

. Take away from the cooker, and begin to match with cooking broom (ijabe) . Match all through till it looks smooth. Place back on the cooker on a low heat, add the grounded crayfish, locust beans, and also sprinkle a handful of Egusi. Put a seasoning cube, and a bit of salt. Mix together, and cook for 2minutes. 

. Ewedu is ready.


   AMALA

 Amala is a Nigerian local food, which is known most especially in the western part of the country. It is made up of yam flour, cassava flour, or Plantain.

Yam flour most especially, is being cut, peeled, washed, dried in the sun, and grounded to give Amala flour. Amala is simple and easy to make. It doesn't consume too much of time. It's so quick.


   INGREDIENTS

. 4 cup water.

. 3 cups Amala flour

. Turning stick

. Igbako


   INSTRUCTIONS

. Boil the 4 cups of water to 100°©. Take out 1 cup and carry the pot away from the cooker. Gently pour all the Amala flour inside the water, then begin to turn. Make sure the Amala is coated with the water. Continue turning for 2 minutes.

. After 2minutes, add the remaining hot water to the surface of the Amala. Give space in between, for the water to circulate round, and in the Amala. Cook for another 3minutes, on medium heat. 

. Time up...... Begin to turn till it looks lumpy and smooth. 

. Amala is ready. Serve with stew

Okro Soup (African Okro Soup)

 


   Okro soup is a mouthwatering delicious meal. It is cheap and easy to cook across the country, Nigeria. From the west to the east, and from the North (where dried okro is used) to the south ( where fresh okro is used). 

   Okro soup can be prepared in different ways, and with different ingredients, and method, either frying, or cooking. It can be chopped, grated, cut into bits. It can be sliced across into thick or disc. Note, it can also be blended, which is the best of all.

There are varieties way or ingredients of Cooking okro soup. Here are the listed ones.

. Cooked Seasoned Meat

. Stock fish

. Pomo

. 2/4 Locust beans

. 1/2 cup Palm Oil

. 1 small bowl okro seed.

. Maggi

. Salt to taste

. Blended scotch bonnet pepper, and onion.


   INSTRUCTIONS

. Wash the okro in a bowl of water.  Cut into small sizes. Pour into an electric blender to blend. Add water to it, so that it would be able to blend easily. Blend till smooth.

. Cook the stock fish. Adding a little bit of salt. Cook for 15minutes. After 15minutes, remove stock fish from the pot. It's time to cook the okro soup.

Note: Pomo should have been cooked together with the meat. In order for it to get overwhelmed with the seasoning.

. Add in the meat water together with the stock fish water.  Then put the blended Pepper, palm oil, seasoning cube. And cook for 5minutes. 

. After 5minutes, pour the blended okro into the pot, mix thoroughly together to get mixed up the seasoning, and pepper. Cook for 3minutes. Begin to put both the meat and fish stock, and also with the Pomo. 

. Mix up, and cover for cooking. Cook for another 3minutes. Your delicious okro soup is ready. 

. Pair with any swallow of your choice

Bitter Leaf Soup (Ofe Onugbu)

 


   Bitter leaf Soup(Ofe Onugbu) is a West African/Nigerian soup. It is made from the vegetable leaf known as Vernonia Amygdaline ( Ewuro/Onugbu). It is widely consumed in Nigeria most especially in the west.

Ofe Onugbu has a good flavor, texture and nutritional benefits.


INGREDIENTS

. 3 medium size cocoyam

. 1/2 cup palm oil

. 1 cup bitter leaves

. Meat

. Pomo

. Stockfish

. 1 tsp ogiri okpa

. 4 Scotch Bonnet

. Maggi

. Salt


INSTRUCTIONS

. Wash the meat into a clean pot, seasoning with maggi and salt. Cook for 20minutes. When meat are soft, add the stock fish to it, and cook for another 5minutes.

Note: Do not add curry, thyme, and onions.

. Alongside cooking the meat, in another pot, boil the cocoyam together with it's skin. Do not add anything to it including salt. Cook for 20minutes.


. After cooking the meat stock, place in one side. Move on to peel off the cocoyam skin. Pound them in a mortar, or better still, cut them raw into small sizes, wash, and blend in an electric blender. Set it aside.


. Rinse the bitter leaf, add salt to the leaves, and begin to scrub together with your palm. Do not add water, keep scrubbing together till it begins to bring out foam. Keep on doing that for 5minutes. Add water to rinse and scrub till it loose it's bitter taste.

. Mix together the meat stock, meat itself, blended scotch bonnet pepper, and palm oil into a pot for cooking. Leave to combine for about 4minutes on a low heat. Apply the cocoyam into the meat stock in small dollops.



. Leave to cook for 3minutes, add the ogiri, and a little seasoning if needed. Stir together gently. Cocoyam should not be too thick.

. Add the washed bitter leaves. Stir to mix stir to mix with the cocoyam mixture, and cook for another 3minutes.

. Your delicious meal is read. You can simply pair with swallow.

How To Make Egusi Soup

 


   Egusi soup is one of Nigeria popular local soup. It is prepared at large by people most especially in the south region of Nigeria. It is also made from a melon seed.

   Egusi soup are easy to cook, and it's ingredients are very cheap. The ingredients includes grinded melon seed, crayfish, palm oil, meat, fish, pepper, onions, seasoning, and any other spices. It is a finger lick soup which is spicy and nutty with exotic African flavor.

Here are the listed ingredients in making Egusi Soup.

. 2 cups melon

. 1/2 cup palm oil

. Chopped pumpkin leaves

. Meat

. Pomo

. 4 tsp crayfish

. 3 tsp locust beans

. Salt to Taste

. 2 Maggi cubes

. Grated or blended pepper


INSTRUCTIONS

. Seasoning the meat and Pomo with salt, Maggi, and onions. Cook for about 15minutes.

. After 15minutes, get a washed pot for cooking for Egusi soup. Heat the pot with palm oil, slice in some onions, and fry for 1minutes. Then add locust beans to it. Fry all together, constantly mixing it till it brings out the odour of the locust beans. But before then, you should have mixed the grinded melon seed with grated, or blended onions, and water in a bowl.

   You are doing this in order to avoid the Egusi from not burning when frying. Begin to add to the hot oil in small dollops. When done, add water into the bowl, rinse every part of the bowl, and pour into the pot. Do not stir. Let it boil for 2minutes.

. Add the blender pepper, meat stock, salt and Maggi. Cook for 5minutes. After 5minutes, add the meat and Pomo. Stir together, and cook for another 3minutes. Add water if necessary.

. Time up, rinse the pumpkin leaves thoroughly to wash away sand. Then sprinkle on the surface of the Egusi Soup. Mix all together. And wait for another 2 minutes.



. Your Egusi Soup is ready. Pair with any swallow.

Catfish Peppersoup Recipe

 


   Catfish Peppersoup is a super delicious meal and most favorite of people in Nigeria. There are varieties of peppersoup such as Goat meat peppersoup, Ram meat peppersoup, and the rest, but catfish peppersoup is popularly known relating to its nickname "Point and Kill"

   Why Point and Kill?

   Catfish is made with catfish. It is most a popularly grown fish in Nigeria. So you go ahead to point to the fish of your choice, it is killed, and prepared for you.

   It is commonly served in restaurant with chilled drinks.

   INGREDIENTS

* 1 Medium sized catfish (cut into 4-6pcs)

* Scent leaf

* 1 small chopped onions

* 1 tsp peppersoup recipe

* 2 scotch bonnet Pepper

* 1 Maggi cube

* 1/2 cup crayfish

* Salt

   INSTRUCTIONS

* Wash the fish thoroughly using lime, or alum to remove the slime from the fish. Make sure the slime are thoroughly removed and rinse fish well.

* Transfer into a clean washed pot placed on the fire. Add 3 Cups of water, apply in the peppersoup recipe powder, chopped onions, chopped scotch bonnet Pepper, grounded crayfish, Maggi cube and salt to taste. Cook for 7minutes.

* After 7minutes,add up the scent leaves. Then cook for 3 minutes.


* Your peppersoup is ready. Serve with a Chilled drink.

   Moi Moi is a Nigerian food made with grounded beans along with other cheap spices. It is a very known food across the country.

   Moi Moi is served commonly at restaurant, eatery, parties such as naming ceremonies, wedding ceremonies, church parties, birthday parties, and also at home.

   It can be prepared in diverse method which depends on the kind of containers used in making. Moi Moi can be prepared in plastic/Aluminum container, Leaf ( Ewe moi moi ), or nylons.

   Here are the ingredients of Moi Moi listed below.


* 2 Cups of Brown or White Beans

* 6 pcs of Shombo

* 2 Medium sized onions

* 6 cut pcs of Mackerel Fish

* 1/2 cup Grounded fish

* 6 boiled eggs

* 2 Maggi cube

* Salt to Taste

* 2 pcs Ginger

* Groundnut Oil


INSTRUCTIONS

* Seasoning the mackerel fish with salt, Maggi, onions, and cook for 10minutes. Drip in the beans into a bowl. Pour water enough to cover it up, then begin to scrub together with your hands. Continue doing this, that is by peeling the shell of the beans off. This will take 5-10minutes of your time. Wash as well as changing the water till you get a clean peeled beans for grinding.

* Get a rinsed blender, add in the peeled beans, rinse the Shombo into it, also with the onions. Then begin to blend, blend till smooth. After blending, simply pour the Moi Moi paste into a Large open headed bowl. Pieces in the Mackerel fish, cut the boiled egg into sizes, and have all of them into the Moi Moi paste.

* Add in Maggi, Salt, grounded crayfish, groundnut oil, then mix well. Mix till everything blends well.

* It's time to package your Moi Moi in whatsoever container you wish. Either Moi Moi leaves, plastic/Aluminum container, or nylon. Any of your choice.


* Then fill them up, well arrange in a pot of water for cooking. Cook for 30minutes in a medium high heat. After 30minutes, your Moi Moi is ready


* Serve with any recipe or sauce of your choice.
